HOMOEOFEST 2005 - A Homoeopathic festival

Organised in technical collaboration with Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Bhopal.
The Grand festival was celebrated with full enthusiasm Shri. Sunil Sood Hon'ble Mayor of Bhopal presided over the function as Chairman, Dr. Ramjee Singh (Vice-President, Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi) graced the function as chief guest, Shri. Ajay Bisnoi (Member of Legislative assembly) was Special Guest, Dr. V.C.Acharya, Dr. Anirudh Verma, Dr. J.S.Khanna, Dr. R.K.Chaturvedi were present as Guest of Honour. Organised by The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (Madhya Pradesh Chapter) Org. Chairman Dr. M.Ilyas, Org. Secretary Dr S.N.Singh, Executing organisers Dr. K.M.Nisanth Nambison, Dr. M.Zakariya, Dr. Chanchal Jain, Dr. Adnan Farooqui were congratulated by one and all for their maiden efforts to celebrate this gala as a festival, one of the main aim was to build awareness amongst masses & move public & political opinion towards Homoeopathy. On this occasion Dr. P.Subba Rao was awarded with Eminent Homoeopath Award - 2005 for his contribution towards classical practice of Homoeopathy, Dr. K.P.S.Dhama (Ex-Honorary Physician H.E president of India) & Dr. Suman Dhama were jointly awarded Award of literary Execellence - 2005 for their contribution towards Homoeopathic literature. In the scientific session Dr. K.P.S.Dhama spoke about some interesting cases with their miasmatic approach & Dr. Suman Dhama spoke about some fantastic cures made by minimum doses of Homoeopathic remedies in gynaecological cases. Dr. Ramjee Singh made an appeal to the 750 odd gathering of Homoeopathic doctors to unite & lodge their protest against those who practice Homoeopathy without qualification or registration not sparing even allopathic doctors who practice Homoeopathy without requisite degree/diploma. Mayor Shri. Sood was so very impressed that he sought proposal from the organisers of Homoeofest - 2005 as to how people of Bhopal can be served with Homoeopathy, the organisers proposed camps, opening up of clinics in every ward which was humbly agreed upon by the Mayor. Altogether the festival was a grand success, such festivals need to be promoted for building awareness amongst masses. 24th April 2005, Apex Bank Auditorium, Bhopal (M.P)
