Introduction :
The Govt. Autonomous Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bhopal was established in 1990 under the supervision of M.P. State Government, with a view to bring forth the qualified Homeopathic physicians for the purpose of serving the ailing human being in the society. The credit of starting First Degree in Homeopathy, Course B.H.M.S. under the Barkatullah University in this state goes to this college and the institution takes pride of the same. It is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal and recognised by Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi & State council of Homeopathy, Bhopal.

Admission Capacity :
50 students throughout Madhya Pradesh State are Admitted every year in first BHMS Course on the merit basis by V.P. Mandal, apart from this there is separate provision of admission for candidates outside the state & outside India (NRI). We in the process of increasing the admission capacity to 100 students.

College :
Situated at top commercial location of Bhopal, i.e., at M.P. Nagar, college is equipped with best arrangements in study, well grounded by the state government. It has all modern gadgets like Laptop, Multimedia projector, Scanner, Digital camera, Printers, High speed DSL, Latest computers etc for improved method of teaching. Besides theoretical and practical knowledge of Homeopathic and allied subjects, we are also having the facility of clinical training.

Hospital :
With 50 beded Hospital, hospital is having the facility of outdoor patient department, indoor patient dept. including Gynaecology and Obstetric, Surgery (including Minor operation theatre), Medicine, Pediatrics and Psychiatry subdivisions. Other than this the hospital is fully equipped with modern investigative facility like X-ray, USG, Pathology. The institution boasts of admissions in IPD wherein students are given bedside clinical training, with demonstration of various mental conditions, traits, gaits, decubitus, behaviour & recovery of chronic cases under Classical Homoeopathic treatment.

Library :
Besides enormous book collection in the Library, it has video CD and computer CDs as teaching aid, which is provided to the students.

Hostels :
Seperate Boys and Girls Hostel facility is available to admitted students.

Land and Building :
State governent has provided an open land of 70 acres carpets area at MACT hills to construct college building, hospital ,hostel and staff qtr. which is almost at its finishing point.
